A Lesson Taught Through LOA

Coming across the Law of Attraction through various authors, past and present, being human I questioned it doubtfully. As I dwelved deeper and deeper I found I had built a shield of optimism, something that I was in desperate need of. I also realized I had been using the LOA all my life, with some errors however.
But what I realized a few days ago was astounding. I am a firm believer in God, a Greek Orthodox and do acknowledge my Church and its Divine Nature. I may not be the perfect Christian, but I do follow my Church’s traditions and practises, if not religiously, to a great degree. This does not mean however that I do not acknowledge and respect all other religions or atheists.
A few days ago my husband was admitted in ICU for cardiac arrest. As anyone can imagine it was and still is in many ways devastating. In the past I would have withered away, but this time I felt strong. Although there wer times when I felt fear, a human trait, I felt strength. An abundance of Strength.
Calmly I collected myself and found that this strength came from what I had been reading and subconsciously practicing all along. Faith is one of the most fundamental aspects of the LOA, alongside Forgiveness and Gratitude.
This Law had built a Faith in me, which I found so relieving , so overwhelming, so comforting. Finally, I have come to understand, what all my past “tragic” experiences had taught me. The only solution I had, in any circumstances was to have Faith. So, I placed the whole situation, in God’s hands and realized that it was part of His divine plan and His intentions were for my best. Clearly, I was to be taught something from all of this and I had to search for the lesson.
I learnt for Patience (one of my weakest characteristics), Strength, Forgiveness and Gratitude for what I have and what will be given to me. I learnt Faith.
When I talk of Faith, it does not mean that you the reader must believe in the Greek Orthodox Church that I follow. It means, as all writers and followers of the LOA state, to have Faith in something. It can be your own religion whether that be Orthodox, Catholic, Presbyterian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and so forth. As long as you have faith in something, somewhere.
If you are an atheist, I suppose you place your Faith in yourself or the Cosmos, the Universe or humankind.
I am not here to judge, but to emphasize that Faith is something that can be felt, in your soul through the vibration of strength that it sends.
As for my husband, despite all odds, he is doing remarkbly well. And I have God and my Faith in Him to thank.

Our Sun, Our Moon

Open your heart to the rays of the sun. Let its beams touch you, feel their warmth, sense their vibration. Then reflect this warmth to all around you. Send back this radiance to all beings on this planet. You are a source of warmth and love just as the sun is. The sun rises every day and so should we.
Notice how the moon comes out each night to lighten the darkness. It provides guidance for our dark paths, a reminder that a Divine light is always there. We too, in our own way can lighten other’s burdens in the same way. Show love and affection and care for your fellow being. The moon does disappear though for one night, to replenish, to let you be. So too we should give space and time to others and to ourselves. We will emerge again the following day, as the moon and sun do.

We are all one, one entity, one spirit.

What Have We Really Lost?

On every form of media we are currently being bombarded by the "World Deficit" or "The Financial Crisis". We are saturated with images of unemployment, unhappiness and instability. Truly the loss of anyone's possessions is traumatizing and I whole heartedly wish it were unavoidable.
But let's pause for a while and think. What have we really lost? Don't you have food on your table? Don't you have money to be able to surf the net and read this? Don't you have friends and family around you? Don't you have your health?
Now, step out of your comfort zone take a 180 degree turn and look at all the underdeveloped countries in this world. They have never had a stable source of nutrition. Have probably never had a stable source of income. Have probably never heard of the internet. Have lived in poverty all their lives. Have, most surely, struggled with their health. They constantly live on our charity, if we offer it. And the list goes on and on and on.
Have we given enough to receive enough?
When I compare my complainig selfish thoughts to those of poverty striken areas, I feel that I, myself, have stripped myself of my dignity.

Now, really think.
What have you really lost?
Be Grateful for today,
Have Gratitude for what you have.
Pray for the world,
Not only yourself.

Ego - The Little Child Within.

Within all of us is a little child named - Ego. I call him a child because as one he frequently misbehaves. There are moments when he should be allowed to, but there are many times when he should be rebuked. As all children there is a reason behind his misbehaviour. Your job is to find out why it is misbehaving. Do not punish him but show him all the love and affection possible. Give him strength, nurture him. Visualize him as a small entity that you can literally hold and cradle. Close your eyes and hold him. If you give this little child love passion and understanding, he will reward you with just as much love and passion, and maybe even more.
The secret here is that this little child Ego is in fact you, your very core and centre.
Think about it, I'm sure you will agree.
Feed someone else's Ego to get yours fed.

Destiny's Doors.

Destiny shows you many doors, even walks you to them.
It's your job to open them.
Open your mind, your eyes, your senses.
Opportunity always knocks,
It's just a matter of how fast you perceive it.

Have You Ever Spoken To yourself?

Have you ever spoken to yourself? Have you ever listened to the inner you?
Sit down somewhere quiet, somewhere airy, a place with no interruptions, nothing to provoke you. Close your eyes and look deep down within 'you'. Search for 'you'. 'You' can be any shape, colour or size; mine is myself in miniature form. When you find 'you' open your palm and invite it on. Ask 'you' about its day, its thoughts, its beliefs and most importantly its wants. Ask 'you' about its desires and fears. at first 'you' is very shy, but once you cajole it with your warm smile and say the words 'I love you' it will open up. If it's complaining, listen to why, if its crying find out why, if , like my 'you', is running around in circles, look and listen. Listen carefully and understandingly. Even if its truth may hurt you don't despair but try to understand why.
Then nurture 'you', cradle 'you' even sing to it.
'You' is your inner child. No matter how old you are, how many friends or families are in your circle, if 'you' isn't loved by 'You' then emptiness resides. There's a saying that 'charity begins at home' - 'you' is your home. Without love there's no stability, no strength.
Have faith in 'You' and major transformations will be witnessed within yourself and soul. Happiness will surface.
Remember ' If you're not happy, no one else around you is happy.'

Sow A Beautiful Mind.

Undoubtedly, the "Law Of Attraction" is at work every breathing moment of our lives whether conscious or unconscious.
One fails to understand however that "The Law Of Reciprocation" is its underlying source.
Shakespeare's main theme in "King Lear" was that what goes round, comes round - "the wheel have cometh full circle".
All religions dwell on this too - what you give, you will receive.
Socrates, Plato, Wattle, Murphy, Hill and modern philosophers such as Vitale, Proctor, the Hickses and the like also draw on this.
If you give bad, you receive bad.
By sowing bad thoughts in your soul and mind, only bad will sprout and flower.
Think of a person who is mean and nasty.
Look at his/her features.
Aren't they coarse and miserable?
Then look at someone who is has pure, loving thoughs at heart and in the mind.
Note the difference,
Feel the difference,
Be the difference.
Beauty really does radiate from the inside.

We Receive from Nature Daily, Now We Must Give.

Every day nature gives us many wonderful things.
We have beautiful sunrises and sunsets,
Beautiful full moons to sit by at nights,
Wonderful oceans and seas to swim in,
Rainforests to help us breathe,
Even nature sounds to soothe and nurture us,
To mention but a few.

Now time has come to give back the love and passion nature has has pampered us with.
The Law of Attraction states that we must give to receive as does The Holy Bible and all other Spiritual Laws.

Take part in Earth Hour, giving 60 minutes of your life for the millions of minutes Nature has given us is the least we can do.

p.s. I am so proud of my birth place, Sydney Australia for giving birth to this wonderful concept and of Greece who currently ranks #1 in Europe concerning environmental awareness.
Most of all I'm proud of you for supporting such a worthy cause.

Focus On Now

Forget the Past,
What Could Have Been,
What Should Have Been.

Focus on Now,
Live Now,
Enjoy and Be Grateful Now,
And More "Happy Nows" Are Bound To Follow.

They have to - It's the Law of Attraction.

Clean Out Your Soul

Everyday we are burdened either with pressure from work, family matters, financial themes even friendships. Some of us have had adifficult childhood or problems with our closest family members that for some reason no matter how hard we try we simply cannot let go. The Hicks' tell us to pivot our thoughts elsewhere, Joe Vitale to turn our bad memories into something good, Doreen Virtue to put them in a white or pink bubble and burst them away. The list goes on and on. Do not misunderstand what I am saying because the above mentioned people together with many many others are right. Their methods do work but I, after numerous readings and self study, would like to share with you my method. I have been using it since I was a child and can truly say that it really works.

Step one.

1. On a piece of paper or in a book write down in list form things that upset you in others. It does not have to be short nor long, stop when you feel comfortable.

2. Then looking back at this paper put a tick next to the characteristics that you see in yourself. Do this honestly and with an as open mind as possible. Be honest with yourself. No one is looking at this list, no one will judge you. Most importantly do not judge yourself because we are all human.

3. Now make a list of what actions people take or do that make you feel happy. Once again look at this list and question yourself. Are you giving any of these things to people around you? If so, are you giving enough, could you be giving more?

4. Look at these lists regularly, add to them if you like or even better omit from them. Looking at them regularly will remind you of your small mission - to improve you and your world.

5. And never ever blame those around you, your present or past circumstances or most importantly you for any negative qualities.

By simply acknowledging your negative attributes you have opened a whole new door. It is now in your hands to improve yourself since you know your faults. Every day look at this list and think how you feel when you are the receiver of any misdeed. Next time before you commit any of them think how you would feel in the other persons position. Does it really satisfy you? Is revenge really that sweet or does it leave you feeling hollow? Slowly you will see a change in you and people around you.

As we all know and have heard time and tima again like attracts like.
It's what philosophers call the Law of Attraction. It's what I like to call the Law of Reciprocation - what you give out in this world you receive tenfold.

Have faith in others to strenghten the faith in you, love others unconditionally to receive unconditional love, believe in others so you can believe in you!

Thank you for reading.

God Bless All.

Inspire To Be Inspired

What you give out to this world will be given back to you
Therefore if you give a person strength, motivation and love
All from your heart
Be sure that you will receive the same tenfold.
It's like gardening
Sow the seeds of Love and Grace
To flower these qualities.

Have faith if you respect yourself.

All good Christians know that we are the image of God.

We also know that we must have FAITH in God.

In other words by having FAITH in God,

We place FAITH in ourselves.

Only by doing so will we ever accomplish what we dream off.

Think about it.

Believe In You,

Believe In Miracles
